Scrabble Wedding Sign

Bex and Tom knew from the beginning that they were going to go craft crazy and make lots of things.   Check out their Scrabble theme and how they made their wedding signs from Scrabble Coasters (found here).

When we asked Bex what inspired her to make these, here is what she had to say:

When Tom and I first got engaged we spent hours and hours arguing over invitations.  I’m a planner by nature and wanted to get save the date cards out as soon as possible – which in my mind, meant yesterday!  I loved all the pretty classic invites but Tom felt the weren’t ‘us’ – and he was right, there is NOTHING classic or delicate about me!

We kept batting ideas around, trying to come up with something which screamed ‘Tom and Bex’ !

One afternoon I was remembering how my first Christmas with Tom’s family was spent playing scrabble – one game in particular where it was just Tom and me and his two brothers playing – they decided it would be really funny to play the game whilst speaking Latin… LATIN.  I, of course, didn’t understand a word!  Tom and his brothers grew up in Luxembourg so could speak four languages by the time they were each 11 – and Latin seemed like a natural (!) fifth for them to dabble in… hummm… anyway! thats how the scrabble theme was born!
