Country Club Weddings: Sami & Dane | Breaker’s West Country Club, FL
From the Photographer:
Planning a wedding with Pinterest was probably the most fun I’ve had and then I got to execute the ideas and see them come to life. Once I knew the date we were going to marry I knew vintage was the way to go. Our color scheme was blush, ivory, and gold with hints of sage green. During the wedding planning process I traveled to Mount Dora, Florida (on 2 different occasions) where I visited the Reningers Flea Market and found some amazing pieces for the wedding; including frames, a floral pitcher, a type writer, bird cages, and antique keys to name a few. We used crochet doilies on the tables that my great grandmother made. They were truly antique pieces and it was nice to have memories of her there with us. I’ve always loved the idea of old windows. This was one of our first wedding purchases. I wrote Song of Solomon verse 3:4 on the window and placed 6 of our engagement photos on it. We set the window on an easel for display. Another DIY was our display table by the ceremony space. My mother and I created a large sign where we cut out letters on the Cricut machine and pasted them onto thick cardboard in a frame. The sign said “Pick a seat either side, you’re loved by both the groom and bride” We also had an ivory painted table that held our programs and a birdcage with some decorative flowers inside. In the cocktail hour area we had our wedding hashtag #Leitnersinlove on display for everyone to share pictures from our special day. We ordered the wood hashtag sign on Etsy.
I truly loved every part of our wedding and none of this would have been possible without my parents or our amazing vendors. All of our dreams came to life on our wedding day and I wouldn’t have changed one thing.
