FROM THE COUPLE:

CREATIVE ASPECT
All of the wedding décor was handmade or DIY. As avid archers and lovers of the outdoors, the bridesmaids all wore cowgirl boots and the men’s boutonnieres were all made with an arrow. Each table centerpiece had an arrow sticking out from the jute-wrapped wine bottle and the mason jar flower pieces all had feathers in them. The cross altar at the ceremony was hand made. The bride’s bouquet handle was wrapped with a piece made by the groom’s mother, from her old wedding dress.

ADVICE FROM THE COUPLE
The best advice I lived by from day one of engagement was to enjoy every day and each moment of planning. Smile. Things WILL happen that make you panic or situations you think are oh-so-terrible for a moment but it’s all about attitude. Stop and think, will this matter 5 years from now? You only get to do this once and if you don’t enjoy the process of planning (the fun times and the worrisome times) you’ll really miss out on the magic that happens during your engagement. Speaking of fiancé, include your partner in every piece of planning that you can. If they care, they’ll tell you – but ask their opinion and let this be partially THEIR day as well.

MEMORABLE MOMENT
That is the hardest question so far! Since I have to choose, I would say our first look. We went back and forth on whether or not we would do a first look or wait until the ceremony. We’re both so glad that we did. It was the most amazing moment of the whole weekend when our eyes first met, all dressed up and ready to say “I do”. Also seeing Chris at the altar, waiting for me, took my breath away.
