From the Couple:

CREATIVE ASPECT

We had a cowboy boot pinata set up during cocktail hour.  It was a fun and unique part of our party that guests really enjoyed.  My girls and I “glammed” up the pinata with pink glitter and tape.  We personalized it with our initials and wedding date.  Best part of that DIY project was filling it up with mini sized bottles of alcohol, scratch off lotto tickets, and candy! A little something for both adults and children.

ADVICE FROM THE COUPLE

My main advice is to work together as a couple in the planning process and make clear delegations to what needs to be done and by whom.  I know that sometimes brides can get lost and feel overwhelmed in the process because they don’t involve the groom in a lot of the planning.  Marriage is all about working together and it should start with the planning process as well.

FAVORITE DETAIL

I really loved the way my florist set up the ceremony with all the beautiful floral arrangements.  My favorite part of the set up was the gorgeous mini tree with flowers and crystals that was the center of our ceremony.  We talked about having it during our planning and my florist had never done one before for a wedding.  It turned out so elegant with just the right amount of shine.  I love how ideas come to fruition and I was wowed when I walked down the aisle.

MEMORABLE MOMENT

I would say, our first look was my most memorable part of the day.  We had been waiting for so long to get married, so I was very excited for this moment.  It was a private but very touching and emotional time.  It was filled with surprise, lots of laughter, but mostly love.  It was more than what I had hoped or expected and it was perfect.
