- Clear glasses or votives
- Mod Podge
- Paint brush
- Gold acrylic paint
- White acrylic paint or Gesso
- Tea light candle
Brush the glitter glue onto the outside of the glass. Apply as many coats as you need to get an even coverage. Let each coat dry well before starting the next.
Once you’re happy with the coverage of the glitter, give the votive two coats of gold acrylic paint. This stops the final white layer from showing through the glitter.
Allow the gold paint to dry before applying white acrylic paint. The number of coats you need will vary depending on the paint you use. White Gesso (canvas primer) provides great coverage and also gives the glass a textured ‘ceramic’ like finish.
Once votives are dry drop a candle inside and watch them sparkle.
