diy Wedding Crafts: Personalize Your Wedding Aisle

Looking for something sentimental to add to your wedding ceremony?  Line your aisle with photos of you two growing up.

 Materials Needed:

  • Photos of the couple from birth to present
  • Decorative frames
  • Ribbon

Instructions:

  1. Pick out a variety of photos for each person from birth to present
  2. Take all photos and get them photo copied. You never want to mess with originals.  Decide what look you are going after – all color or black and white photos
  3. Cut all your photos to fit your frames
  4. Remove glass from frames. This will eliminate any glare so that guests can see photos – not to mention breakage if they accidentally fall
  5. Add photos to all the frames and arrange from birth to present
  6. Add decorative ribbon to your frames so that you can hang them off your chairs or tie them onto the pews
  7. When you arrive at the location, pick a side for each person and start with placing the baby photos first; as you walk towards the alter, the photos should gradually get older ending with a current photo of each person.
