When you’re getting married, it’s natural to want to make it the most exciting and memorable day of your life. Not just your life, but everybody else’s life too! However, there are a few things that you shouldn’t bother doing for your wedding day. Seriously – they don’t make that much difference at all!
Sticking To Old Fashioned Traditions
There are a few old fashioned traditions that people are starting to move away from now. For example, not seeing your partner before the actual event. While it can be exciting to spend a night away from them, it could still be a nice idea to see them alone right before the ceremony – before chaos ensues! This will probably be the most peaceful moment you have together all day, so make the most of it.
Spending A Fortune On Invitations
Inviting everybody to your wedding with the right invites can set the scene, but why spend a fortune when you can make them yourself? Seriously, your guests don’t really care about these, and neither should you!
Sugared almonds and favors like that are so outdated. Seriously, forget them! If you want to give favors, it’s a better idea to give your guests something more meaningful. Maybe even make it yourself. If you want to save time and money, then don’t be afraid to drop the favor idea altogether!
Take a look at the following infographic to see who should have taken the advice in this post. Their weddings cost an absolute fortune!
