From the Photographer:
Joe and Esther might be the cutest couple in the history of ever, and their wedding reflected every ounce of their storybook sweetness! This third generation dairy farmer and his lovely antique collector, who met in middle school, said their “I Dos” at a private farm in Northwest Oregon, surrounded by family, friends, hand-selected antiques and gorgeous rustic DIY details. Joe even popped the question in an old red barn!
From the venue to the cake, the hair and makeup to the event coordination, this wedding was the result of friends and family pulling together to create a glorious day for this adorable couple. Esther said that “twinkle lights” made her fall in love, and she wanted to “capture its timeless being with elegant decor and colorful props.” Foraged flowers were picked the day before or day of by a family friend, Jennifer Koch with all her many helpers. She captured Esther’s style by finding wild and wistful yellow flowers to match Esther and Joe’s story.
Growing up country, Joe and Esther had a vision that played out on the wedding day. Cowboy boots, rugged pants and suspenders, barrels, wooden signs and a portable ice cream truck, all made for the perfect rustic country wedding!
