From the Photographer:
There are some weddings we shoot that make a positive lasting impression on us, and this is one of them.
Emily and Michael are an amazing couple. Although they have gone through quite a bit of hardship between their engagement shoot and their wedding, their sweet personalities did not change one bit. There were three moments I teared up. Emily’s mother informed me that Emily was in a bad accident in September. She was going for a run when a car ran a red light and hit her. Fortunately Emily was able to recover from the terrible accident, and on her wedding day Emily was able to run into Michael’s arms during their revealing. It was honestly one of the sweetest revealings I have ever seen. Emily’s father, Matt, made sure to let everyone know how much Michael means to their family, which brought many guests to tears (and me to tears as well).
Their outdoor wedding was beautifully planned. After the guests parked, they entered the ceremony location by walking through a beautifully decorated barn. Streamers of daisies made for a beautiful backdrop as the couple said their “I do’s.” The newly married couple were sent off with a balloon release.
Their reception was full of life and was kicked off with the bride, groom, and wedding party entering with a choreographed dance. Family and friends enjoyed a buffet of food and desserts, that were delicious.
It was an absolute privilege to capture their love story. I will never forget it.
