From the Photographer:
Jessica and Chris’ Scarlett Belle riverboat wedding held under the fireworks of the Oxnard Harbor on the 4th of July was spectacular! Not only was it an event to remember, but the couple filled their day with personal touches that made it their own. The bride designed the reception herself with ocean-themed light houses, compass escort cards, rock candy, and hand-folded origami boats. When her venue didn’t allow open flames, Jessica made her own faux-sparklers out of glittery yarn for a one-of-a-kind send off at the end of the night. Not wanting to forgo the tradition of seeing the bride for the first time as she walked down the aisle, this couple opted to do a first touch as a way to connect before the ceremony. The intimate ceremony was held on the upper deck of the Scarlet Belle, followed by a reception in the lower deck where guests could enjoy a leisurely cruise around the harbor. Top that off with dancing and a fireworks extravaganza!
