From the Bride:
Josh and I met when we were little kids-he kicked a soccer ball in my face and I shoved him in mud. We have been inseparable ever since! Josh proposed in January in front of a frozen waterfall on one of our favorite trails. We love doing anything outside, especially traveling. We have several reasons for choosing Gatlinburg.
The first is obvious: Smoky Mountains are absolutely breathtaking. The second is that we wanted to have a large enough cabin that both sides of our families can stay the entire weekend together. I love the idea of the two families joining-not just Josh and I.
From the Photographer:
These two were amazing to work with. Almost every detail of their wedding was handmade. Her father made the arbor, the tables, the podium, and the benches. Her family did the setup and put the flowers together. Jeylan’s sister made the unity candles from beeswax. Jeylan and Josh made the books with their vows and all of the beautiful sentiments. Jeylan is also a huge lover of bears so her sister sneaked in a couple of bear masks to surprise her. Then, we got lucky enough to see a bear while we were shooting at sunset which Jeylan thought was a great omen.
