From the Photographer:
This wedding story begins over 100 years ago when the brides great great grandfather opened Pok-O-Moonshine Summer Camp for boys in the Adirondack Mountains. Pok-O-Moonshine Summer Camp opened the Girls Camp MacCready 50 years later, and the camp has been a place for children to laugh, hike, make friends, canoe, ride horses and so many other amazing things. Meaghan spent her childhood at Pok-O-MacCready and when she met Nick in college she brought him into the amazing world of Poko. Nick fell in love with Meaghan and with her families summer camp during the years he was a counselor. The only place it ever made sense for them to be married was at Pok-O-MacCready, surrounded by lifelong friends who could share in the joy of this magical time and place. Friends and family came together to pull off this amazing wedding. From the beautiful ceremony by the lake, to cocktails in one of the oldest buildings at camp. The reception took place in the dining hall lit with sparkling lights and rustic elements made by hand. The party lasted well into the night with the fireflies dancing in the forest.
