From the Bride:
One of my best friends suggested I join an Ultimate Frisbee team to meet some guys. I managed to find a team through a girl on my soccer team. Luckily I ended up on the team that Tom was also on. The first day he showed me how to throw a Frisbee and was very sweet. After a couple of games and rides together to the field, we became friends and started watching Dexter and NFL games together. Finally, Tom asked me to come over to his place for some homemade pizza and movies. It was delicious and the rest is history.
There are so many cultural wedding traditions in my family, like breaking of the bread and Macedonian dancing. Almost everything was DIY, and if I didn’t do it, my bridesmaids did; invitations, calligraphy, flowers, cupcakes, frames, signage, escort cards, card box, logs, crates, table numbers, centerpieces, bunting, photo booth…you name it! We made trivia cards as a kissing game. My first look will be the moment that lasts forever. Seeing Tom for the first time in a private moment with just the two of us before all the craziness of a wedding started was incredible. It was even better because his reaction and mine were captured on film. It released both of us from any stress before the ceremony, it was the smartest decision.
