When you get married, there isn’t a need to spend a lot of money unless you really want and can afford to. After all, what is the wedding about? Making sure that the two of you are married, right? So as long as that happens, you don’t need to stress too much about the finer details. So if you are on a bit of a budget, then here are some ways to make sure that you as the bride are looking your best, without it having to cost a lot of money.

Ask a Friend To Do Your Makeup

Unless you are happy to do your makeup yourself, then asking a friend that knows their way around a makeup bag is a really good idea. We all have one or two of them, right? They just know how to make their makeup look good. Even better if they are an actual makeup artist. So to save money, ask if they can help you with your makeup on the morning of your wedding. Make sure they are invited to the wedding, though, or that could end up being a little awkward!

Do Your Own Hair

Like the above point really. Unless you have a hairdresser friend or a friend that is just good with hair, then think about doing your own hair on the morning of your wedding. By the time you have had a couple of hair trials with a hairdresser, the cost can really add up. Plus, they often more than double the price on your actual wedding day. So if you can practice and do your own hair, then you’ll be saving yourself quite a bit of cash.

There are plenty of ways to save when it comes to your wedding dress. Some of the best ways to save money on your wedding dress start with making your own. Or if a family member or friend is good with their dressmaking skills then you could recruit them to make the dress. All you would pay for then is the material. You could shop for a vintage secondhand dress, or even modernize a dress that has been in the family for a while. Buying a dress that you then adjust yourself is a good way to save money too.You don’t have to spend a lot on your dress to look good.

Borrow a Veil

Like the dress, the veil is something that will get used on one day. It might not even be worn all day long, depending on the style of it. So it is a good idea to borrow one off someone else if you want one at all. They can be quite pricey, so there is no need to pay out a lot of money when you don’t have to.
