From the Photographer:

Brittney and Dan took rustic elegance to a whole new level. Their wedding was the perfect mix of both. Brittney carried a rustic bouquet adorned with charmed photos of loved ones but walked down the aisle in the most divine gown. Her wedding dress was lace with an open back, it fit like a glove and the finishing touch was a full tulle skirt that wrapped around her waist. This divine tulle skirt was removed after the ceremony revealing her full wedding dress like a reception dress without having to change. I would be hard pressed to decide whether I prefer her dress with or without the skirt. Her maids were in a perfect shade of deep purple. I loved that they were full length, elegant, yet flowed while they walked which added a sense of whimsy. More whimsy was added by the cutest flower girl in her rustic cream dress, perfect curls and flower headband. This is my favorite flower girl dress. She was suddenly even cuter with her mini corsage as she carried this rustic little basket full of flowers.

Dan wore a grey tuxedo paired with a black bow tie. Many of their selections screamed black tie at their Oakhurst Golf and Country Club wedding. But the rustic finishing touches made their entire day casual and relaxed. The tables were dressed in classic linens and the elegance of purple was carried into the party. The linens were then layered with burlap and lace with rustic flower arrangements in mason jars. These were the largest mason jars I have ever seen and I needed them. Brittney and Dan didn’t just merge elegant and rustic elements together. They did so in such an organized and well designed fashion so that everything looked perfectly placed.
Their outdoor ceremony felt like we were nestled in the woods. The aisle was flanked by gorgeous flower arrangements on side tables that matched one of the pieces inside the reception area. The aisle was lined with mason jars filled with sand and candles and mason jars full of hydrangeas hung from the chairs with twine. A burlap runner paved the way as Brittney made her way to her groom. Every nook and cranny of Oakhurst inside and out is completely gorgeous. We had no trouble finding gorgeous backdrops for portraits.

Soon, Dan and Brittney were being introduced as husband and wife from the balcony looking over all their friends and family. They toasted, ate, whipped and nae nae’d. As the evening wore on the gorgeous daylight that flooded in, from all the windows of the country club, gave way to the romance of candlelight. Guests played corn hole on the veranda and roasted s’mores over the fire pit while others danced the night away.
