Instead of simply numbering each table for your guests, create a Theme so they won’t be self-conscious if they’re stuck at table #104!

  • If your guests are wine lovers, name each table after a favorite Wine Region, and center it with a few bottles from their vineyards. That way your guests will say, “I’m at the Bourdeaux table!”. Purchase wine theme table numbers here.
  • I played an Italian wedding a few months ago, and each table was named after a famous Italian City… Rome, Florence, and so on, and each table had a landmark for that city as its centerpiece - the Rome Table had a paper mache’ Sistine Chapel at center, and was sprinkled with postcards and Roman trinkets. The same idea really works if you want to make each table a different country!

  • Place a Boggle game at the table center, making sure the letters are set the same for every table. Have the guests work throughout dinner to come up with a list of words, and submit them to the DJ. It creates great interaction and really breaks the ice! Then the DJ announces that the winning table gets a prize, or must lead a Conga Line!
