How to look thinner in your dress1. Make Up

The use of bronzer to contour the face can create more angles on the face. Especially when done around the cheeks and chin, this careful shading can make you look up to five pounds lighter.

A tan (real or faux) diminishes blemishes like veins, cellulite, and brown spots that break up the clean lines of your arms and legs. This creates a longer, sleeker silhouette and it also makes your skin glow.

2. Body wear

Body shape wear can slenderize the figure and make your dress fit more smoothly over your body. It is recommended that you wear shape wear to your fittings.

3. Drink Up

Imbibing the recommended eight glasses of water a day is terrific for your body. Studies have shown that dehydration is sometimes mistaken for hunger. Keeping adequately hydrated will improve your skin, reduce bloating, and even cause you to eat less.

4. Reduce Bloating

Some women bloat the week before their menstrual cycle. If bloating or water weight is a significant issue and you have a regular cycle, consider choosing a date a few days after you finish your period. Then you’ll be slim for your wedding and honeymoon.

Calcium can also reduce pre-menstrual bloating.

Other ways to reduce bloating is to eat potassium-rich foods, avoiding soda, and eating slowly.

5. Exercise

Regular exercise can help you lose weight or improve muscle tone. However, even brief exercise like some pushups just before the walk down the aisle can make you look a little more toned. Fifteen to twenty minutes of walking a day can lower stress hormones that cause you to over eat.
